At Fred Astaire our teaching philosophy is simple and straightforward: learning how to ballroom dance is always fun! We work with students of all ages and abilities, and our friendly and professional instructors will help you make your ballroom journey a reality. Whether you are looking to try something new or this is something you have always dreamed of, we have something for you! Our studio teaches using a three way system: Private Lessons, Group Classes, Practice Parties! *Private Lessons - One Instructor per Student or Couple. You receive 100% of the teacher's attention which helps you learn faster. All programs and private lessons are customized to the learning style of our students, their goals, and the types of dance they are interested in. *Group Classes - One Instructor with 3 or more students. These group lessons are designed to introduce new patterns and help create muscle memory through repetition. This helps you spend less time remembering and reviewing and more time learning during your private lessons. We change partners through the class which helps you learn how to lead and/or follow many different people because everyone dances a little differently. *Practice Parties - Designed to help you practice dancing in a social setting. We provide some snacks, and turn on the music to help you learn how to dance with other people. Our instructors are available to help you practice and will explain what music goes with what type of dance. We also specialize in wedding dance lessons (Frist Dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Wedding Party, Flashmobs) and are now offering youth classes!
