Material Services regionally operates eleven (11) modern limestone quarries, three (3) sand facilities and one (1) trap rock (Rhyolite) quarry. Additionally, Fred Weber, Inc. operates nine(9) hot mix asphalt facilities, including two (2) high-capacity portable drum mix plants. As a full-service, self-supplied contractor in the St. Louis area, we are involved in a project from start to finish. We tightly control the process, cutting expenses and improving quality—all saving time and money. We can self-perform 100 percent of the work, making our own material, and enforcing stricter specifications than state requirements through our quality control program. Major projects include: The New I-64 Project, Taum Sauk Upper Reservoir Rebuild Project, Route 364 Project, INDOT I-69 Project and I-270/Dorsett/Marine Project.
