Inspired by Londoner Frederick H Grubb, a maverick pioneer of British cycling and 1912 Olympic medal winner, Freddie Grubb bicycles are beautifully crafted using quality materials and modern components - a simple yet effective combination. Our products will appeal to design conscious individuals who regard the bicycle as a viable and stylish way to get around town. Tailor-made for city cycling, Freddie Grubb bicycles have Porteur style swept handlebars, allowing the rider to maintain an upright posture, enabling command of the road with responsive handling. The internal cable routing and German engineered hub gears provide consistently smooth gear shifting and compliment the sleek design of the bicycle by concealing components and protecting mechanisms from water and grit, whilst maintaining the bicycle’s distinctive slim profile.
