About Free the Child
Free the Child (FTC) is a UK registered charity founded in 2007 to serve and support underprivileged and abused children and young people in the UK and internationally. The charity has run projects including Bounce Back, Health is wealth, Way Up and Postcode Peace, through indoor and outdoor workshops. Through the educational and creative activities, young people are educated on the dangers and consequences of drug, sexual, and physical abuse, crime, peer pressure, and are encouraged to live a safe and healthy lifestyle. FTC Nigeria and Sierra Leone aims to empower orphans through education, accommodation, care and counselling. FTC has orphanages in Sierra Leone and Nigeria and continues to support young orphans by giving them an opportunity to achieve their potential.
