FMC is unique in that our Functional Mobility Assessment (FMA) Outcomes Tool, developed by the University of Pittsburgh, can provide outcome data to prove referrals sent to FMC result in better health outcomes and reduced hospital admissions. As a result of being outcomes focused, Freedom Mobility Center understands that fast response times and specialized care are top priorities. When providers send a referral to FMC, the patient is contacted within one business day to coordinate an in-home evaluation, and assigned a personal Case Manager who specializes in working with the patient's specific health insurance. This ensures each referral is processed quickly and with the highest probability of insurance approval for the equipment being ordered. FMC is not only your go-to for complex rehab mobility equipment; but also offers other specialized DME such as Therapeutic Support Surfaces, Air Fluidized Therapy & standard hospital beds, Standing Frames, Pneumatic Compression Devices for Lymphedema, Lumbar Supports, and Bariatric DME. FMC is also a powerful resource for helping providers navigate the complex world of insurance documentation requirements, and offers free consulting services in DME coding.
