Curated with love in The Hamptons, NY My mother loved the simple pleasure in every moment. She founded French Presse as a way to revive the natural joy of a slower era. We began as a high-end, environmentally-friendly linen laundry, then transitioned into a beautiful retail store full of bedding and lifestyle gems. Today, we are a full-scale design and supply service to make your bed the perfect place to begin and end each day. In 2018, Sarah de Havenon-Fowler passed away from brain cancer. The love and awareness that she embodied every moment lives on, in our work. In honor and remembrance of her generous spirit, our French Presse Collection will raise money for CancerCare to help families cope with the emotional and financial burdens of cancer. I’m always inspired by mom’s words, written about her own mother, but which describe her life equally well: “When I slipped into my sheets at night, I felt my mother’s gentle touch as if she had made the bed just for me.” We at French Presse continue to offer that experience of simple love and perfect bedding.
