About Friends of Children

Friends of Children is a Massachusetts based nonprofit and innovator in child welfare related issues. For over 30 years we help vulnerable children and young people who have experienced foster care, overcome adversity and help them to thrive by combining strategies to effectively change conditions that limit their growth and opportunities. We understand the welfare system. Since our inception we have served over 16,000 children (99% of whom are low-income) through our programs and initiatives.
