About Friends R Us

We are a support group of friends helping friends in all the ways that friends look out for each other. As the quotes go about friendship: “Friendship isn't a big thing - it's a million little things.” “If I had to sum up Friendship in one word, it would be Comfort.” “A friend accepts us as we are yet helps us to be what we should" Friends R Us is a non profit organization, created in 2006 to rehabilitate boys from across the spectrum of yiddishkeit who cannot function within society either due to drug addiction or other issues. In the few years hence, we have responded to the need of providing preventative services to preclude boys from turning to drugs to in their quest for happiness and escape from their challenges. Mission Today, Friends R us has a twofold mission: A. To provide proactive services to keep good boys who are not successful in a yeshiva environment from succumbing to street influences B. To provide treatment services to rehabilitate boys who have already succumbed to drugs but express a clear desire to be helped. Vision Statement Imagine the day when every one of our troubled boys will be able to succeed in life. Imagine a much stronger community in which every one of these bochurim is self assured, happy and a contributing member.
