About Friese & Strobl Ventures UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Over the last one and half year Arved Friese and Kilian Strobl have been working on the creation of the first ever University Beer specifically for their beloved Zeppelin University. Together they created a beer from students for students, where each and every student can submit their own label-design. Thanks to much support from the university community as well as the brewery of choice Meckatzer Löwenbräu have enabled us to launch this project in the Fall Semester of 2023. Before every semester the ZU-community now has the possibility to choose from a pool of student submitted designs so that the label of each semester is representative for the universities culture. The beer his then sold predominantly to the initiatives that make zeppelin university so unique and distinctive. We operate on thin margins to ensure cheap prices for the aforementioned initiatives so that they can sell the beer at events to generate money for their cause. After receiving positive feedback from all stakeholders and selling over 8000 Beers of the first semester edition, we determined the new label through a Design Competition for the Spring 2024 edition „ZÜffl 2.0“. Here it is! We want to thank each and every person at Zeppelin University for their support. The Design Challenge for the third edition has already started and we are excited to see what the creative minds of our community will come up with!
