About Fruit Couture

Fruit Couture was founded by Jacqueline Bonilla in September 2013 where she specializes in unique decorative fruit arrangements such as fruit bouquets, platters, designs, and chocolate covered fruit. After only being a month in business, the success of her new venture proves to be going strong. Jackie states that her love for creating art with fruits "came unexpectedly" as she only discovered her talent after creating an owl fruit platter for a friend's baby shower which became the talk of the party. Jackie decided to continue with her project and made it into a business after many requests that she received and has used her talent in a positive effort to support causes that she believes in such as Breast Cancer Awareness month. For the month of October, she has decided to create a fruit bouquet and special chocolate covered strawberries where she will donate $5 for each one sold to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation which, the foundation has acknowledged her promotion by stating in a letter that, "through the sale of Fruit Couture products [it] will help [them] to invest in research and community health initiatives…", Jackie is very pleased with this and says that she plans to continue doing fundraisers for important causes within her community. Jackie has a theme for every season and can also customize her fruit art to work for anyone's special event. She eventually plans to have a little Fruit Couture boutique and has many great ideas that will appeal to many however, for the moment, orders can be requested via. email at info@FruitCouture.ca.
