About FS Medical Technology

FS Medical Technology is involved in all aspects of medical and industrial gas piping systems including: design, plan review, installation, testing, inspection, repair and maintenance. Services are provided to medical facilities throughout California and Nevada. FSMT is a veteran owned small business and was founded in 1992 as a full service biomedical engineering firm. The company expanded into the medical gas field in 1995. A member of the Medical Gas Professional Healthcare Organization (MGPHO) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), all medical gas verification studies are designed to meet OSHPD, OSHA, NIOSH, TJC, CMS, NFPA and ASSE Series 6000 requirements and recommendations. Services are provided to a wide range of facilities, including: hospitals, clinics, laboratories, surgery centers, nursing homes, dental clinics and general industry. All FSMT programs are developed and administered in strict compliance with current laws and regulations using equipment and techniques approved by NIOSH (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association, and ASSE (American Society of Sanitary Engineers). Effective in January 2012, FSMT implemented the NFPA 99 2012 edition medical gas verification procedures. These changes include new area alarm panel and surgical booms/column inspection requirements. Ventilation, laboratory and hyperbaric changes have also been addressed. Environmental monitoring is performed using recognized procedures for the collection, transporting and reporting of all samples taken during the verification process. The FSMT internal laboratory meets qualifications established by the American Industrial Hygiene Association and is administered by AIHA credentials industrial hygiene managers.
