About Ft. Wayne's Farmers Market
We are looking for top quality products and people to take part in this amazing opportunity in bringing Ft. Wayne the best of the best of area farmers and vendors – in this order of priority - Farm and Garden, Home-based Food, Natural Products, and Artisan/Crafters. We are striving to find a balance and good mix of food and product for the consumer. Ft. Wayne's Farmers Market is excited to announce the dates for this year's Farmers Market season. The market will begin on Saturday, Oct 6th and will run the first Saturday morning of each month through May 5th from 9 AM to Noon on the Douglas St. side of the Parkview Field. Booths with gardening tips and materials, along with educational programs will also be available. Ft Wayne's Farmers Market is the newest in Allen County. As a producers-only market, variety, quality and selection are the key to Fort Wayne's growing success. "We are so excited to bring fresh, locally grown items to the people of Fort Wayne through the Farmers Market.", said Leigh Rowan, Market coordinator. "It is so important for all of us to learn to eat and shop locally and seasonally. Our Saturday morning market is a great place to start!" said Rowan.
