Fire Tec Gold Ltd has over 35 years experience in smoke ventilation installation, engineering and maintenance. Making us experts in this industry. FTG was founded in 1987 by Paul Goldsmith, starting as a sole trader and then later becoming a Limited Company. Since then Paul has successfully trained over 30 apprentices and grown the FTG team, demonstrating our belief in investing and rewarding in our team to ensure that they reach their maximum potential and beyond. FTG are involved in the installing, commissioning and maintaining of natural and smoke ventilation systems & Mechanical Extract Systems This includes natural and mechanical smoke ventilation systems for clearing smoke to protect escape routes and aid fire fighting. Natural ventilation systems for cooling and venting of CO2, these can be standalone systems or networked throughout the building. Installation includes cabling and containment where necessary. Installing smoke dampers, smoke vents and fixing actuators to windows/doors to provide ventilation. Installing and connecting control panels, manual control points, smoke detectors and any other equipment needed. Commissioning all systems to the correct cause and effect schedules and ensuring the systems comply with the correct building regulations. Fully testing system and all equipment to ensure it is working correctly. Maintaining completed projects to make sure systems are still working correctly.
