Firearms Training Specialist LLC. is also proud to be fully licensed and accredited by the Pennsylvania State Police to operate as a training center providing initial and renewal Act 235 certification for armed security officers. In addition, FTS has also recently partnered with Keep Me Safe Consulting (KMS) to offer a new, one of a kind, counter sexual assault class. The course that has been developed between KMS and FTS for personal safety is unlike any other. Within our course, the student will learn awareness to avoid dangerous situations and simple tactical maneuvers. Should all else fail, the student will also learn steps to take following a sexual assault to include what actions should be undertaken to aid law enforcement in their investigations, as well as what mental health and support services are available. We are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to the raise the needed funding to create a Computer Based Training (CBT) version of our breakthrough course to allow taking the course from the safety and privacy of your own home. We hope to raise the funding and have this course available Online and on disc for training by the spring of 2015
