About Fulford Academy (Merged with Merrick Preparatory School)
Founded in 2012, Merrick Preparatory School is an international boarding school located in Merrickville, Ontario on the shores of the Rideau River and Canal System, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Only 50 minutes from the nation's capital, Ottawa, our students have access to all of the national capital resources. Since our founding we have maintained a 100% university acceptance rate, with over 86% of our graduates gaining entry to their first choice university. With our small class sizes (averaging 10 students per class) and our high skilled staff (all teachers are trained English as a Second Language Specialists) we ensure top performance of our students. We offer 140-145 hours of instruction per course compared to the industry standard of 110. Our dorm rooms are large and luxurious and our small family feel creates a safe, secure and focused environment for learning. Our graduates gain entry into top-tier universities in North America and the UK with large scholarships.
