About Full Circle Formals

Full Circle Formals (FCF) is a charity based on the Gold Coast, Australia running under the not for profit Eco Avengers Foundation. Our founder Cindy Paterson has been styling school formals for over a decade now and has noticed that each year the amount of graduates attending their school formal has been dropping. With current financial situations worsening for families, these young adults don’t have the luxury of being able to afford the expense of what it means to attend their formal; from the outfit shoes, and entry ticket. This is where we come in. We take in donations of formal wear from members of the public which we then store and give out to those students in need. These students come in and select what they like, then try it on and if any alterations are required we take care of it. Once the students are finished with the attire, they can choose to either return it to us or keep it for a small donation which will go towards thrifting more formal attire, therefor completing the full circle either way. Students are to approach us through their school or other known community group in order for us to know that they’re being authentic and are in need of our services. This not only protects our resources, but also protects the students we are here to help as the stock will be purely for them. Full Circle Formals aims to help not only disadvantaged school students. But also assist in recycling clothing and reduce the usage of fast fashion within the industry therefor greatly benefiting the natural environment.
