OUR FAMOUS LUNCHES Fumo is in Brooklyn, Groenkloof, Pretoria, a very busy area with businesses, offices and embassies. Our lunches offer a quick but tasty and healthy meal for business people and busy professionals. OUR FOOD At Fumo we want you to have the best experience possible. Food is the king of this experience and we source the best ingredients we can. In fact, our Executive Chef Claudio Uccello personally selects vegetables and meats for hand-picked suppliers. PIZZA Pizza was born in Naples, Italy, like our Executive Chef Claudio Uccello. “Using the original recipe is only part of the story” says Claudio “there are several components that contribute to creating the perfect original pizza. For example, letting the dough rest long enough to rise naturally makes the pizza not only taste better but it’s also easier to digest. The flour is also key, we only use Caputo flour from Naples. The other ingredients are key as well, we source our mozzarella in South Africa, made my Italian cheesemakers that use the original Italian methods with excellent South African milk.
