About Fundació Sentit Comú

The Sentit Comú Foundation was born with the aim of building Sense in what we do and where we are going in a changing era marked by crises and uncertainties. Faced with the complexity of the moment, the need arises for a collective and Common project that promotes the construction of a new Common Sense. The Sentit Comú Foundation emerges as a space for reflection, generation of thought, exchange, dialogue and training promoted by Barcelona en Comú and Catalonia en Comú at the end of 2021. A space that must allow the necessary alliances to be established to respond to the social, environmental and economic challenges that must be faced from the local, national and international level. A space that wants to encourage citizen participation, political action and social transformation around these challenges. A left-wing space that responds to the need to promote research and innovation in political practices driven by feminism, environmentalism, social justice, municipalism and democratic radicalism. A space that wants to promote artistic and cultural expressions, as well as the recovery of historical and democratic memory.
