About Fundación Salvi

La Fundación Salvi es una institución sin ánimo de lucro que opera en el sector cultural en Colombia y que está activamente dedicada a difundir, promover y desarrollar la cultura musical del país y, en un sentido más amplio, de América Latina. Con el fin de responder integralmente a algunas de las necesidades identificadas en el ámbito musical nacional, la organización ha ideado, estructurado y puesto en marcha proyectos clave como el Cartagena Festival Internacional de Música, los Centros de Lutería e Instrumentos de Viento, la Cátedra Salvi de Arpa, el Banco de Instrumentos Musicales (BIM), el proyecto de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Cartagena (un laboratorio orquestal), y la naciente Serie de Jóvenes Artistas Salvi. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Salvi Foundation is a non-profit organization that works in the cultural and educational sector in Colombia and is committed to the dissemination, promotion and development of the musical culture in the country and, in a wider sense, in Latin America. With the purpose of responding in a wholesome manner to some of the needs identified in the national music sector, the organization has conceived, structured and implemented key projects such as the Cartagena International Music Festival, the Lutería and Wind Instruments Centers, the Harp Salvi Lecture, the Musical Instruments Bank, the Cartagena Symphonic Orchestra (an orchestral laboratory focused on youth), and the recently created Series of Young Salvi Artists.
