Our goal is to end inequities in birth outcomes and improve experiences for all birthing people. We work tirelessly to advance respectful, physiologic care and equitable access to birth workers. We do this by serving as a collective, collaborative action group that works to transform the broken system. The issue of racism and birth inequities is not new, but it is one that funders are now looking to act on strategically to propel the cause forward. Decades of research and hard work have resulted in BIPOC-led, community-based solutions. However, these community-based solutions have been notoriously underfunded. We are working hard to meet our goals of achieving a transformed and just birthing care system for all!
