About Furnell Transport

We aim to be our customers ‘go to provider’ for specialised and general transport solutions, providing a service that delivers on confidence, security, safety and satisfaction. We collect and deliver equipment throughout the UK and Europe across many industry sectors including aerospace, medical, computing, telecommunications, printing, dangerous goods and nuclear. We also provide pallet deliveries from Hemel Hempstead and Watford for overnight or 48 hour deliveries as well as warehouse and storage facilities onsite and long term contracts at our locally based Lorry Park. We work in partnership with our customers, offering a personalised service to help plan for the individual requirements for each job - including onsite surveys. Our fleet of vehicles range from panel vans, lorries and artics as well as sideloader trailers to lift and transport ISO containers. Our vehicles also have cantilever tail lifts to support loading and unloading options for different pick up and delivery sites. Our driving team are trained and qualified under ADR regulations in Classes 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 to ensure compliance with current regulations and legislation governing the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. And we have a fully accredited ‘in-house’ Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) and qualified ‘in-house’ Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS).
