About Fury Theatre

Fury Theatre was founded in 2003 with the idea that all theatrical works are derived from the retelling of physical action. We strive to pull all kinetic energy out of every line of dialogue and bring to life the raging conflict housed within the author's characters. No play starts with a resolution, but rather an earth-shattering event that propels the beating heart of the actor wearing that life on the stage. Now entering our second season as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, we are continuing that mission by creating energetic and exciting performances including two youth shows! We also continue our strong partnership with the Chicago Park District in both Edgewater and Uptown.
