About Future Forest Music & Arts Festival
Future Forest is an outdoor music & arts festival with a focus on electronic music. It originated in 2012 as a fundraiser to support a local DJ who had cancer, and has been continuing on as an annual event ever since. Now in its eighth year of operation, Future Forest proudly embraces the perspective that there are no spectators at the event but rather participants who in some way contribute to the overall experience. It is a community effort that thrives on creativity, sustainability & inclusivity. Located off the grid in the middle of the wilderness of New Brunswick, participants can prepare to be immersed in nature. Some of our distinguishing features include the integration of natural resources to construct three unique stages, public access to a river, and our back-country camping experience. Future Forest offers three days of non-stop music with over 140 acts featuring local & world-renowned international headliners. Interspersed throughout the forest, guests can also expect to experience a wide range of other visual & performance art from live painting to fire spinning to aerial & acrobatic dance. Amenities such as showers, food vendors, and health & safety personnel will also be located on site to provide a safe & welcoming experience for all attendees.
