About Future Hope Africa

Future Hope Africa is a faith-based educational organization based in Bukavu, in The Democratic Republic of the Congo. It facilitates personal and community transformation through educational, spiritual, entrepreneurial, and health training to all ages. Our programs include: •Education - homework tutoring, Kindergarten •Public school and college scholarships •Entrepreneurial training •Small business microloans •Youth services •Faith-based character development The organization was founded by Nabintu (Bintu) Mujambere, a citizen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and has expanded through the collaboration of American, European and African partners. While many flee Africa never to return, Bintu chose to return to her native Bukavu after completing university studies in Belgium and after the late-1990's - early-2000's war and instability had subsided. The work of Future Hope Africa has provided desperately needed tutoring and encouragement for children and funded scholarships for those without resources. FHA provides a variety of youth services oriented toward teaching life skills, faith and character.
