About Future Intentions Yorkshire

Empowering Women Across Yorkshire. We are a Community Interest Company led by a small, dedicated team of volunteers and staff whose lived experiences shape everything we do. Our mission is to support midlife women ,of all backgrounds, to build confidence, develop skills, and move closer to employment and personal growth. We offer non-accredited training, workplace readiness workshops, and volunteer opportunities that help women rebuild self-esteem and gain practical experience. Through both in-person and online peer support, we support women facing social isolation, mental or physical health challenges, and barriers to opportunity. Our projects include a Women’s Employment, Skills & Social Project in Malton, funded by North Yorkshire Council and supported by Yorkshire Housing. We work collaboratively across Ryedale, York and Scarborough, with referral partners including DWP, IAPT, IDAS, and Community One Stop. Together, we help women rediscover their strengths and step into their potential.
