About Future of Football
Future of Football (FOF) offers weekly skill based sessions in Melksham and Bath for football players of all abilities aged of 5-13 years. We provide access to first class professional coaching sessions delivered by our team of FA qualified coaches. We provide players with ‘ball at feet’ technical coaching and small-sided games. We focus on individual skill development delivered through our very own unique Player Development Pathway and innovative curriculum. Our goal is to develop players that are comfortable using both feet with flawless technical ability partnered with a creative mind and tactically aware football brain – the complete technical player with a licence to be creative. Our weekly sessions delivered by our professional coaches consist of: • Skills based training • Footwork skills – learning to master the ball • Speed, agility and quickness development • Small-sided games (maximum 4v4) How is FOF different? • Innovative curriculum & unique player development pathway • Every player has a ball • Low emphasis on winning • Focus is on technical ability • Encourage creativity Each session taken from our unique curriculum will contribute to developing a player’s technique, ability and understanding of key principles within the game. Our methods and thoughtfully constructed player development pathway is guaranteed to improve players confidence, awareness and take their skills to the next level. My child already attends a youth football team, why would they attend another session? Most youth teams train once a week with sessions typically focusing on match related topics (i.e. set plays and game related scenarios). Our sessions are focused purely on developing a player’s individual ability with the ball and intelligence without the ball. We maximise touches of the ball, creating an environment to allow each player to learn and use new skills.
