Futureproof Homes is a construction firm that is your one stop shop for creating resilience and disaster proof homes from the ground up for new builds or rebuilds from natural and man made disasters, and for retrofitting your existing home into an eco friendly, self sustainable, disaster proof, and whatever the future may hold for us, proof style construction. Using proprietary techniques and alternative building styles, we blend the best of the best designs to create a fully self sustainable regenerative eco dwelling space. Partnered with the best in the world, leaders and innovators from every discipline having to do with green technology and techniques. Using our team and technology, we are able to conduct permaculture, gardening, and rainwater harvesting site surveys, then applying our team’s techniques and unique skills and technology, we are able to construct cisterns to hold a 3 year supply of water, and construct the complete structure for a dwelling in 2 weeks or under. This is accomplished using very low or no technology, almost entirely local materials, and using unskilled laborers who will be learning our techniques as a live training as we build to build the main structure and cisterns and do the initial groundworks. “Stacking functions” as its called in permaculture design, we will then be able to build a complete disaster-proof and climate cycle change resistant structure, at an affordable price, using low or no technology when it is not available, and we will be teaching the ways this is done to the owners and groups of students who will be attending the live builds, all at the same time.
