Prior to launching Futures Today Consulting Dr. AlcĂĄntara served in local municipalities and state government for over 13 years. In 2010, Lucia was named as a Rotary Peace Fellow at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. She is passionate about adult learning and growing organizations. Currently Futures Today Consulting is leading several projects to eradicate poverty throughout the developing world. Entrepreneurial training for youth and women are managed through Futures Today non-profit organization launched in October 2012.
