G-COR Automotive is a family owned and operated automotive aftermarket business with six decades and three generations of experience servicing the automotive remanufacturing industry. G-COR Automotive is a multi-faceted company with several distinct divisions. Our Core Division is dedicated to the recycling and repurposing of automotive cast offs. This division buys and sells trailer loads of used automotive parts on a daily basis at our 2100 Refugee Road facility. In addition to engine cores we buy intact engines, transmissions, torque converters, starters, alternators, a/c compressors, steering gears, rack & pinions, and power steering pumps. These used parts are, in turn, sold to production and automotive remanufacturers in the United States and abroad and provide a strong example of G-COR Automotive's niche in the automotive recycling chain. Our Metals Melting Division houses two furnaces. Together they generate 100,000 pounds of 380-grade cast aluminum per week as well as 120 tons of clean cast iron and steel. This is power recycling at its best giving us the upper hand in buying your aluminum at a premium! G-COR Automotive is also very aggressive in the scrap metals market. We offer the most competitive pricing in the area. Finally, our Hard Parts Division is the most recent addition to our pursuits. We feel strongly that it represents the largest transmission hard part inventory in the United States. We service production builders, wholesalers, and transmission shops world wide.
