G8RTech™ is leading the charge in innovations for the field of sports technology. Run by current and former athletes, we understand the immensely positive impact sports can have in shaping the character and perspective of players. Motivated by this understanding, we have reimagined, invented, and developed new systems for ensuring player safety. Our first product, G8RSkin™, directly targets and addresses one of the most prominent and damaging injuries in sports, concussions. The G8RSkin™ offers a drastic reduction in the relative risk of concussion using a versatile form factor akin to a balaclava. It is lightweight, flexible and, most importantly, quantitatively effective. Our data-driven prototyping process allowed us to measure exactly how G8RSkin™ PPE reduces the risk of injury, making it easier to improve and allowing us to achieve the best possible results. We know how detrimental concussions can be to the lives of athletes; we have seen firsthand how our friends and family members have dealt with both the short-term and long-term effects of concussions. With that, we strive to protect athletes from experiencing those same struggles and to continue developing quantitatively effective products to effect meaningful change in the world of sports.
