Gabriel Rising is a gated, Residential Live/Learn/Earn Community whose primary mission is to provide an integrated network of programs, services and opportunities for mild to moderate intellectually and developmentally disabled adults (18–65) who cannot live independently but do not require more advanced medical or psychological care. We also provide afterschool programs and services for special needs teens, tweens and young people still attending school. (12-22). We offer an abundance of amenities, activities, and opportunities for our residents to grow intellectually and emotionally while experiencing independence and receiving supportive care. The Village at Gabriel Rising is a supervised-independent living facility for special needs adults who are able to live with moderate to little assistance. Resident supports are provided by a well-trained staff of Direct Support Specialists who will function under the supervision of a highly-skilled leadership team consisting of Managers, Supervisors and Clinicians. We will work with each resident, and their caseworker or representative to develop an Individualized Life Plan which will outline how they will achieve their personal, educational and vocational goals. Several staff members reside on the property as well. We also offer Vocation Training and Job Placement, Performing and Fine Arts instruction.
