Gait IQ is transforming how health systems detect and prevent functional decline by turning a standard iPad or iPhone camera into a clinical-grade gait lab. Every year, 30% of adults over 65 fall, leading to more than $100 billion in healthcare costs. The reality is, most falls happen before a patient is classified as frail. But our current system doesn’t reliably catch early mobility decline—because we don’t have scalable tools to assess fall risk proactively. So, interventions come too late, after the first injury, when costs and complications are much higher. That’s the gap we’re addressing. Our platform enables providers to conduct a 2-minute, AI-powered gait test during routine primary care visits. A simple 4–5 second walk, captured on video, is analyzed via our neural network engine to detect gait asymmetries, joint instability, and fall risk. The results are presented on a clinical dashboard for early intervention. We’re launching a pilot with a large, physician-led primary care group that serves over one million Medicare Advantage patients under a value-based care model. The pilot has executive sponsorship and will be performed in collaboration with three of their largest clinics.
