A growing company in the baked goods industry Gala Bakery has been owned and operated by the Janosevic family since 2002. In 2009, we expanded our neighbourhood bakery into a state of the art facility in Hamilton, Ontario. We supply our full line of products throughout Canada and soon into the United States to: Supermarket Chains, Independent Grocers & Delis, Restaurants, Hotels, Catering Halls Gala Bakery was born out of an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring quality-baked goods from the neighbourhood, to the rest of Canada and the world. We take food safety seriously. Our philosophy is: “If we can’t serve it on our own table, it’s not good enough for your table" Gala Bakery has become “certified” in two rigorous food safety programs. This helps us to be one of the industry leaders when it comes to providing you with products that you can trust. Global Food Safety Initiative Certification (GFSI) FSSC 22000:2010 designation With the FSSC 22000:2010 designation, Gala Bakery now meets or exceeds the food safety standards and is eligible to sell in over 178 countries throughout the world. Advantage HACCP Certified Facility™ – Certified since December 2009 Each year Gala Bakery undergoes a thorough third-party certification inspection process that looks at nine different areas of food safety practices.
