About Galeria Presenca

Established in Porto in 1995, Galeria Presença was one of the pioneers to join what would become known as Porto Arts Block. Since its foundation, the gallery has maintained a constant dialogue with Portuguese and International artists, working along with curators, creating solo shows, collective exhibitions and site-specific projects in its Oporto premises. The gallery is committed to a permanent interchange of ideas with institutions, curators, critics, collectors and all involved in the art world in order achieve a broader divulgation of its artists and we strive for their continuous practice, consistently introducing new works into the art sphere. In 2022, the gallery changed its director, deepening its long-term commitment to the exhibition of its represented artists and pursuit for new talents to be shown to an international audience. Galeria Presença brings together artists from all sorts of backgrounds and from different stages in their careers and is proudly opened to everyone who wishes to deepen their understanding of contemporary art.
