About Gallarus
My name is Rebecca Grochowski, and I have been designing and creating jewelry for over ten years. I am a self-taught artist that works predominately with sterling silver, incorporating semi-precious gemstones, glass, crystal, wood, ceramic & other interesting and beautiful finds into my wearable art. I began making jewelry by stringing and hand-knotting beads and pearls. Eventually, I discovered wire wrapping and learned metal working techniques. Over time, my focus has shifted to chain maille, and the beautiful pieces that can be created with simple sterling silver rings arranged into intricate patterns and weaves. I do still love to bead and wrap, and so my collection contains a wide variety of materials and techniques.
