In the modern age, when unhurried details and authentic craftsmanship are becoming fragments of the past, Gallello Atelier invites them back into the present day and carries them into the future. Gallello Atelier devotes itself to practising the slow-luxury techniques of Dominic Gallello, esteemed Pattern Cutter to Christian Dior himself in the 1950s. Tasked with bringing designs to life, he would create the first cut based on his sketches. Inspired by pieces left as family heirlooms to Stacey Gallello, the house unpicks the fond memories he wove into the seams of his garments, and entwines them into the modern day. Each piece is created using his time-honoured techniques. The Gallello philosophy is engrained in the practices of a small atelier, placing upon a pedestal those who are quietly dedicated to creating designs that stand the test of time.
