Galt Transport is a 3rd generation family owned haulage firm based in central Scotland. We specialise in Hiab crane hire and general haulage. Established in 1947 we have a reputation for our quality of service and diverse fleet featuring specialist lorry mounted cranes and trailers which meet a variety of customer needs. With four operating centres across central Scotland we serve the UK, Ireland and Europe with general and specialist haulage services including ADR (class 1-9) and all STGO categories. We can advise on all aspects of transport law and can arrange advance notification to all relevant authorities for any abnormal, sensitive or hazardous loads. We are also a Section 5 approved haulier for the carriage of restricted cargo. We are specialists in the movement of Dangerous Goods (ADR), the movement of Abnormal loads, Lorry Mounted Cranes and offering fast response deliveries throughout the UK. We offer container handling services with our Hammar trailer and have a large yard in which we can de-stuff equipment using our forklifts and lorry mounted cranes for onward delivery. Our fleet, including a wide range of trailers operates nationally and offers same day and next day deliveries UK wide, in addition to offering back load opportunities.
