Game Design Automation provides tools for the design, verification, and optimization of slot machine mathematics. Slot Designer enables game performance to be optimised, and development time and costs to be reduced, while integrating with the traditional game design process. Slot Designer has been used in the design of a large number of commercial slot games since its inception in 2002. The company, Game Design Automation Pty Ltd, was incorporated in 2008 to help further commercialize the software. The company name reflects the aims of the company; to provide sophisticated design tools for game designers in much the same way that Engineering Design Automation (EDA) tools help electrical, software and mechanical design engineers. We have worked with a wide range of companies from small start-ups to large established gaming companies, with diverse ways of working and requirements. Through outstanding customer service we aim to work with our customers to understand their problems and build the tools they need. This sharp focus and many years of real customer experience have enabled us to develop by far the most advanced, easy to use, and productive mathematical tools in the gaming industry. The original Slot Designer was released in 2008 and implemented a relatively simple text based language and underlying mathematical model that was capable of greatly speeding up the development of the majority of games that were popular at the time. The next generation of Slot Designer released in 2023 is a complete redesign of the language and underlying mathematical models to provide vastly increased capability. Based on decades of R&D and customer feedback from around the world, the new Slot Designer aims to make the design of even the most complex modern games quick and easy.
