About Game Ventures

Game Ventures is all about helping video game fans to push the limits of their games. Users can incentivize engagement, competition, and discovery for their favorite games by creating or contributing to monetary awards called Bounties. These Bounties go out to players that demonstrate incredible skill - often by achieving world record speedrun times or new high scores - while everybody else can watch and follow along as the contest progresses. Our goal is to provide a streamlined way to set up and support these campaigns, with tools that enhance users' abilities find, track, and participate in these contests. We provide a number of innovative processes, such as the Chase, that encourage wider community involvement and cooperation compared with traditional bounty awards. We also believe that crowdfunding is critical to enabling successful campaigns, such that the many fans of a game can share the burden and help to bring better visibility and incentives to the contest.
