About Gamebred Youth & Families, Inc

Gamebred Youth & Families aims to empower at-risk youth by using a multidisciplinary approach that targets three major areas of social development; personal development, health and wellness and community engagement. Personal Development Our one-on-one and group mentoring programs are designed to provide life skills training that improve leadership, peer relations, communication, problem-solving and team building. We link youth with mentors who are culturally competent and can facilitate a space where youth are free to express themselves in a caring and supportive environment. We assist in building a cohort that emphasizes responsibility and accountability so that youth feel empowered to meet all of their personal goals and objectives. Health & Wellness Our program promotes healthy lifestyles by engaging in physical activities through a multi-disciplinary approach that includes sports and basic martial arts training. We provide health education that assist youth in making good choices that include having balanced diets, exercising, and abstaining from drug and alcohol abuse. Community Engagement We believe that family support and positive interaction with adults and peers in their community is a cornerstone of our youth’s success. We engage our youth in a variety of community-based service projects and volunteering efforts that promote efficacy and stewardship of our environment and the people in it.
