About GameOn!
GameOn! Is an assistive technology company that seeks to give people with disabilities the tools they need to play on standard gaming controllers. With its mission to make gaming inclusive for everyone, GameOn! Seeks to transform the gaming industry and open up a world of possibilities for gamers with disabilities. According to a study conducted by the AbleGamers Foundation, an estimated 33 million people with disabilities in the United States alone are interested in playing video games, but many are unable to because traditional gaming controllers and interfaces often do not accommodate the needs of gamers with disabilities. In addition to this, 40% of disabled gamers in the U.S say they have bought games only to find their disability makes it impossible to play. Further, it is estimated 2% of the U.S population cannot access the medium of gaming at all. With the Gaming industry growing faster year by year, this problem is growing rapidly. GameOn! uses 3D printed modules that are more affordable, customizable, and accessible than traditional assistive technology solutions. Users will be able to answer a questionnaire that can organize the needs of the gamer and create a module that they can attach to their existing Xbox, Playstation, or Switch controller. Next, users will be able to see, edit, and customize the modules to their liking, such as changing the button size, sensitivity, or location.
