Garber Physical Therapy is a family owned business with two upstate South Carolina locations. We have been in business since 2011. Dr. Kurt Garber DPT earned his Post-Professional Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa in 2009. Dr. Kurt believes in a balanced approach to treatment consisting of, educating the patient on the treatment and management of their problem, use of heating and pain relief modalities, therapeutic exercises to correct the cause of the problem, and hands-on techniques (manual therapy). Throughout Dr. Kurt’s 28 years of practice and experience, this balanced approach is what has worked best for his patients. Dr. Kurt is a Veteran of the US Army. He was a Combat Medic from 1983-1987. He served in peacetime only. His experience included working in the Emergency Room at the Army hospital in New Jersey and in South Korea.
