About Garmoran Square

Garmoran Square is a bespoke development of self-catering apartments opened in 2006 in Moidart and is situated 42 miles south west of Fort William in the west highlands of Scotland. The apartments sleep from 2 - 18 persons & are currently achieving a 75% occupancy. My wife Susan & i run the business at Garmoran. In addition we also run a small housebuilding company set up in 2008 which has won a National award from Premier Guarantee for Conservation & Environment for our first development at Coille Mhingearraidh, Mingarry. Garmoran Square offers the best of both worlds - a rural getaway amid spectacular west coast scenery but with contemporary city-chic on the accommodation front. Surrounded by stunning mountain views, Garmoran Square has been designed and finished to the highest standard of luxury, a unique and sumptuous base to explore the West Highlands. The cottages sleep 2 -18 guests ideal for couples, families, walking groups, wildlife parties, and group accommodation. Luxurious interiors, gorgeous artwork and personal touches throughout including solid oak and slate floor. Satellite TV, DVDs, CD player, and controllable under floor heating throughout and with fantastic 12ft ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that frame the stunning scenery. Each cottage has its own deck area with outside garden furniture and BBQ, where you can enjoy some alfresco dining under a starlit sky and views of Ben Resipol. Real fires or wood burners to keep you warm after a long day exploring the spectacular countryside Luxury robes and Arran Aromatics in every home to keep you fabulous for the duration of your stay. In each cottage you will find maps, local area walking books, binoculars, iPod docking stations with speakers and BBQ's, hair dryers and alarm clocks in each bedroom. The cottages are child friendly and high chair/cots available on request. All kitchens have coffee makers, food processor, hand blenders, food mixers, and all the utensils you could wish for.
