About Gas and Utility Technology
Gas and Utility Technology Ltd was established in 1996. We work throughout Scotland successfully delivering Design, Construction and Consultancy services to the multi utility industry. Changes to industry legislation allowed for a more competitive market, enabling utility end user’s freedom of choice upon who installs their infrastructure. With this, our story began, initially designing, installing and commissioning gas infrastructure. Due to continued growth, we undertook a related diversification step and in 2005, obtaining our WIRS accreditation, allowing us to design, install and commission water infrastructure. With this we became a more influential market player whilst forming further client relationships. Times were occasionally difficult, however we managed to survive the 2008 economic downturn by relying on our strong relationships and project reliability. More recently however, we recognised the market has changed due to quicker construction turnaround times creating a demand for a one stop shop utility installer, and in early 2018, we further expanded our services offering into electrical infrastructure, propelling ourselves into a niche market position. With this in mind, we are proud to be recognised as very customer conscious. Keeping our partners informed every step of the way throughout the project is paramount to us at Gas and Utility Technology, and with effective communication we are focussed on premium service delivery. As a national company, we have formed many partnerships with construction companies, architects and public-sector bodies, and are proud to be Scotland’s number one choice for multi utilities. As for the future, we foresee further growth in an ever-developing market, particularly with new developments in the utility industry.
