Gascoigne Forensic Collision Consultants was established to assist both the legal and insurance profession with any case involving collision investigation. We are very approachable, friendly and able to present our findings in a manner which can be understood by both those instructing us and the courts. Following a 30 year career in the police service, I retired having served as a forensic collision investigator for 11 years and becoming the Senior FCI for Nottinghamshire Police. Following my retirement, I joined a leading consultancy firm where I continued in the field of forensic collision investigation, assisting the legal and insurance profession with their cases, and providing evidence at court when required. We are able to review the available evidence, visit collision scenes and examine vehicles, and then compile an expert report of our own detailing our findings, comments and opinion. During my time as a practising FCI, there is the obvious requirement to maintain continuing professional development (CPD), and from my experience there is always new developing technology.
