About Gasunie Deutschland
Gasunie Deutschland is a European energy infrastructure company. Our mission is to ensure the safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable gas transport. By doing so we serve society and industry. We connect producers, shippers and consumers of energy. Our pipeline grid in North Germany is an integral part of the 15.500 km wide grid operated by the Gasunie group in the Netherlands and Germany. It serves the function of the gas roundabout for nothwestern Europe, connecting Germany, one of the most important gas markets in Europe, with big national and international supply sources. Our infrastructure is therefore not only an international intersection but secures the European gas transit. With our growing expertise - which we have been accumulating in past and current projects (e.g. Marktraumumstellung) - we have an excellent position regarding the transition to green gas and hydrogen. Even now green gas production facilities are adding their gas to our network - the future of energy has already started.
