Founded in 2017, Gateway Medical was created to make the immigration medical exam process easier and more accessible for United States green card applicants. Our company operates three clinics spread across South Florida which work with six different USCIS civil surgeons and provide over 4,000+ medical examinations each year. Our team is proud to be recognized among the leading providers of immigration medical services in the country. Our interest in working with the immigrant community reaches far beyond US permanent residency health exams. We have worked closely with the Florida Department of Health to promote screening,education and treatment for latent tuberculosis in foreign born individuals. We also hosted a citizenship event next to the USCIS Oakland Park office which brought together 20+ immigration attorneys to provide free assistance and oversight to green card holders wanting to file a US citizenship application. We are also proud to work with on-site health insurance brokers who have assisted more than 400 immigrants in obtaining coverage and navigating the complex US healthcare system. And not least, our Oakland Park clinic is an official site for the IRS “Volunteer Income Tax Assistance” (VITA) program which offers free assistance to taxpayers from low and moderate income households who want help filing a return or an amendment.
