About Gathering Industries

Gathering Industries is a Christian-based 501c3 organization that works in collaboration with Atlanta Mission in order to train and educate homeless individuals in the culinary field. These individuals have successfully completed transitional programs through Atlanta Mission and are ready to seek employment and become self-sufficient. Through The Gathering, these individuals learn cooking and management skills in order to build their resumes and prepare them for a future in the culinary arts. In addition, those involved in our program work to create elegant boxed lunches for office and corporate events. This service creates a way for them to experience life in the kitchen as well as to help give back to the organization and keep it sustainable. Through constant communication, guidance, and companionship, The Gathering works with these individuals to encourage them to find their own passions and work hard to become contributing members of society.
