We're partnering with innovative brands with smaller environmental footprints and social initiatives so you can feel great about your purchases.These are ethical, fair and sustainable brands that create products built not only to make you feel gorgeous but their products are built to last. More importantly, they are doing so with moral values that are for the good of humans, animals and the earth. To us, good for humans means empowering workers, paying living wages, no forced labour (slavery), no abuse, no (sexual) harassment or discrimination, no underage (child) labor, reasonable work hours, safe and healthy working conditions, women's rights guaranteed, minimized impact on the environment and respect for community values. To us, good for animals, means no animal material that is obtained by keeping and breeding animals in captivity or harsh conditions where animals are subjected to inhumane treatment and cruelty. We avoid any brands that use leather, fur, silk or feathers in their products. To us, good for the earth means recognition that the earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. This means using eco-friendly processes like facilities powered with renewable energy, implementing water-efficiency programs, using environmentally-friendly materials, including rapid renewables and non-toxic, organic and/or recycled or upcycled materials. Or making any other efforts to keep the earth clean.
