GB Card & Partners is a civil, geo-environmental and geotechnical engineering consultancy providing expert advice in the UK and internationally. The company was established by Dr Geoff Card in 2010 who, drawing on experience from his previous business, saw a need in the industry for a highly qualified and specialist consultancy service. As a dynamic team of renowned chartered individuals with a proven track record for excellence, we take pride in supplying first-rate services. Our clients expect quality and rigour, and that’s why our design solutions are always produced by the most experienced and knowledgeable members of our team. The expertise we offer is wide-ranging, spanning the fields of civil & environmental engineering, geotechnics, infrastructure and land & groundwater quality. Our ability to understand a range of multidisciplinary issues allows us to see the whole picture rather than working in isolation, enabling us to provide pragmatic, sustainable solutions compatible with wider project objectives. We are heavily involved in setting and steering industry guidance through our input with CIRIA and the British Standards Institution, and by providing training courses for private and public sector bodies in the UK and overseas. Geoff Card has authored a number of key civil engineering papers as well as much of the UK guidance on ground gas and developing on landfill sites, and is an internationally recognised expert.
